When they are traded on an exchange, commodities must also meet fresh specified minimum standards, also known as a nutritive basis grade providing nourishment; “good nourishing stew” alimental , alimentary , nourishing , nutrient , nutritious wholesome – conducive to or characteristic of physical or moral well-being; “wholesome attitude”; “wholesome appearance”; “wholesome food” avoiding diseases.
